Created for the exhibition Ça sent le crypto-sapin, held from December 15, 2022, to January 15, 2023, at the NFT Factory, then the main venue of the movement referred to as « crypto-art, » the work casts an ironic eye on the enthusiasm and excesses of the NFT universe by playing with its codes, while referencing Piero Manzoni and his Merda d’artista of 1961: 90 tin cans sold by weight containing the artist’s excrement.
